Here are some photos from the first 35 weeks of Jacob and Lauren's existence while they were in the womb.

Here's the ultrasound from that incredible, life-changing, inspiring day in January when we learned our baby was two babies.

Here's a closeup of "Baby A" from a week later, on January 20.

This is "Baby B," also from Jan. 20th.

This photo from January 31st is a bit hard to see, but it shows that the twins are fraternal -- each in their own little sac.

Here are both babies on Feb. 9th.

This one is also from Feb. 9th -- Baby A, we think.  (The terminology is that "A" is always the baby who is most likely to be delivered first, so, depending on where they are in the uterus, they can switch, and Baby B could become Baby A.)

Again on Feb. 9, here they both are pretty much scrunched up and I think both upside down.  The one on the left is sort of front-to-back whereas the one on the right is more of a profile shot.  You can see some little limbs floating around.

Here's our baby girl on February 25th. (On that day, however, the technician thought she was a boy.)  We're hoping that the rest of her growth catches up to her Pinnochio-esque nose.

Also from Feb. 25th, here's our little boy on his back, just chilling. If you look closely, I think you can see a tiny little remote control in his hand.

Here are the tops of their two heads on Feb. 25th, which, as the cliché goes, are better than one.  Looks like our daughter scored the more spacious floorplan.

Here's more of a close-up from March 23rd -- this is the boy's head.

Also from Mar. 23, this is the girl's head. The top of her head is on the left and her nose and lips are near the top. (She's kind of upside down, so her torso is up in the air on the right.)

Here is a closeup of Jake's hand.

Here is little Jake and his beautiful face and his right arm doing a bit of a power salute.

This is Lauren's face. She's laying on her side. You can see her mouth, nose and eyes really clearly. There are some who speculate that she will get her sleeping skills from her mother.

Here is Lauren show her gymnastics skills. Her knee is almost touching her face.

Here's Jacob's profile where he's blowing a kiss to visitors to albabe.com.

Here is Lauren's head and a limb or two from May 11th.

This is from the last ultrasound and is Jacob's head.

Here is Lauren's head from July 11th. You can

see her lips quite clearly
