Safeco Field
I had the good fortune to take a tour of the new stadium in December, 1998. My
expectations were high, of course, but I'm pleased to report that they were even exceeded.
Each seat offers plenty of room, but all the seats seem closer to the action and have
great sightlines. Smartly, all the concessions are on the outside of the walkway, so you
can walk around the whole stadium watching the game on one side and checking out all the
concessions on the other.
The seats are bigger and roomier and, of course, they are all angled towards the field.
Sorry for the long download times, but here are some photos for your viewing pleasure.
Section 119 is the section for our Charter seats. Section 115 is
where our regular seats are.
Looking towards the field above Section 115. The blue arrow thingee gives you an
approximate idea where are seats are in row 19. |

 This is
looking down towards section 115 without me standing in the way. If you were going to the
seats, you would pass through that red tape and then go down about halfway and then go to
the left. |

This is looking down to section 119. The blue area shows you where the Charter
Seats are. |

This is Sarah Moore, standing in the charter seat
section 119. The blue dot is where we'll be for Albabe night at the
Mariner's, July 17th. |

This is a view from the Charter Seats (section 119) looking towards the
first-base dugout and all the stuff on the third-base side of the stadium. |

This is a view from the Charter Seats (section 119) towards section 120 (VIP
bigwigs) and then the camera area and then the dugout. The field is actually going to be
raised some from what you see here, so we won't have to lean that far over the rail to
pick up a foul ball or blade of grass. |
