Claude's World

Claude "Claudehead" Chitlik was born in the late fall of 1990. She was found by yours truly and Mary B. "Marci" Strange Rodriguez near Bardstown Kentucky on December 27th. We didn't knew what her gender was at the time, but we liked the name Claude. She hasn't seemed to have suffered any emotionally for having such a masculine name.
	Marci left her in my capable hands and I've turned her from a hyperactive tiny little kitten to a lethargic, fat cat. (In fact, she's such a fat cat that she registered Republican.) She's currently on Kitty Slim Fast and is using a Kitty Nordic Track.
In 1991, she passengered with me in my journey from Louisville to Wenatchee. She did OK but she certainly didn't do her half of the driving. In Denver, she crawled out the window of my Nissan while I was visiting Bill & Margaret Albrecht and set out a huge neighborhood search before she was found cowering on the front porch. Apparently, as soon as she'd jumped out of the window she'd met up with a bigger Denver cat and gave new meaning to the phrase fraidy cat.
	In 1993, we escaped from Wenatchee and moved to the second floor of a house in Seattle. She has a habit of crawling out the front window and over the roof to get to the backyard. Her daredevil antics (now the subject of a second page on this site) belie the fact that she's a serious wimp.
