Albabe's Top Albums

Several years ago, I stumbled upon a site (http://www2.rpa.net/~jogle1/Poll_Results/) which recorded Internet visitors' opinions on the top albums of each year. That gave me the bug to create my own lists, the results of which you can see below. Music is really the background of my life and it was really fun to recall what I was listening to at certain times in my life and conjure up memories of old friends, jobs, apartments, dorm rooms etc. I'm not saying these are the "best" albums, only the ones that I listened to the most during certain times in my life. Because I entered high school in 1977, I thought that would be a good starting point. I've ranked my Top-10 albums prior to 1977 in one list. (It was hard to put "Born to Run" at only #2, but Harry Chapin's Greatest Stories Live is an album that I used to listen to over and over. That album has a humanity and a passion that spurred me to become a big Harry Chapin fan, and also enriched my passion for music and concerts generally.)
